OEG and Ko Shamo Chicks

Post by dinosaw » Wed Apr 13, 2016 3:16 pm

Starting to feather up nicely. They are now in the garage as my days of putting up with the smell of rearing indoors is over. I think we have two OEG boys and hopefully 1 Shamo but I have zero experience of them and am going by wing colouring.

Fantastic! I was wondering how that was going. Love the comma curl by the ear on Blondie.

I hadn't noticed that, just as well it doesn't have a dot underneath or I would think I had hatched the Riddler which would be doubly worrying as we have unfortunately already had to say goodbye to a chick we named Cobblepot due to its walk, just couldn't correct the deformity no matter how hard we tried.

Very interesting. I guess you will have to be quite careful about theft.

Both sets are bantams so less attractive for fighting, having said that you can never be too careful though we are a quite isolated here. If I had large fowl Shamo then yes the risk would be quite high, it's a good reason to be vague about where you live.
