I just watched a video from Manchester, interviewing young people flocking in to jammed pubs. The sense of entitlement, and firm belief in their own strength and immortality. "Well, the chances of me catching it in that pub. It's so unlikely." "well, I'm only 23, so if I catch it, I'll be fine. I'll just get over it." Enough to make you weep. pubs here were ordered to close last Sunday. A very few let customers in during the week. Those caught face not having their Licenses renewed.

Petition signed.
OH vented her feelings on the comments on the North Wales Daily Post about the morons yesterday at Snowdonia. We have just cancelled two holidays, one of which was to Wales in May.
Our God daughter is married to an Italian (Rossi ice-cream) and he has family in Italy still, and heads up youngsters, it is killing the young over there.
That's the answer take the licences away from the pubs, they will soon stop

Unfortunately the young think they are invincible which is why so many of them die in car crashes, often not wearing a seatbelt.

How about this one: https://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north- ... u8A48GNRz8

"Nurse's shock as drinkers gather outside closed pub in Abersoch amid coronavirus outbreak
Staff at The Vaynol, Abersoch, asked them to leave beer garden as soon as they realised and urged people to adhere to social distancing"

There's only one end to this (apart from a rampant epidemic) if these Covidiots (or Covidassholes, whichever you prefer) don't behave sensibly and that's the permit system they have introduced in France and Italy. I know it is "self-certification" but the reasons you give for being out are limited and apparently the police do check up.

Well done the Isle of Man for arresting a man who wouldn't abide by the rules!

Well done to a holiday parks owner in Wales who has shut his parks and ordered people off from 6 tonight, and to another park who is allowing it to be used as a temporary hospital.
OH said she is Ospreyfan on the comments section on the Daily Post.
A friend in Kent said the front at Whitstable is like carnival day, people are treating like a holiday.
Still on the plus side locally, a woman bought two chest freezers and loaded them up with panic bought goods attached to an extension lead in the garage. Son was doing a paint job on his bike, unplugged the extension lead to use a sander. No one realised he hadn't plugged it back in for a couple of days. She lost the lot.
We have cancelled our holiday to wales in May, we could swap dates or have a voucher for the full amount to redeem later, so we have gone for that.
The hotel in Amsterdam (August) has said we can have a full refund up to a week before if travel restrictions still apply, so we have left that for now

The downside of that is that although she wasn't rewarded for her selfishness she had still deprived other people of the chance to buy the stuff. Probably won't teach her a lesson, she'll just restock as soon as she can.

people here today behaving like utter morons too. Because the Govt said that going outside and walking (as long as you maintain social distancing), the idiots flocked in their thousands to beaches, walkways and other scenic spots. Many, many more than normally would! Is it the sense of "naughtiness" that causes this?

ScotGov have this afternoon banned ferries carrying non-essential travellers. About time because we knew it would have to happen eventually.

We watched Boris this evening, telling us all about the vital necessity of social distancing - flanked by two experts one on either side about 1 metre apart! Do they have magic virus-resistant podiums?
