I love it! Good to see at least one rail company has the right priorities!
What would happen if you took the first one literally and actually tried to transport chickens, I wonder?

All done. I only check in occasionally but happy to pay£10 per year fit the privilege.
Hello NicolsT! Nice to "see" you again!

All paid up and happy to contribute.
Thanks to the Jokers masquerade advert, I have ordered a Halloween costume of the grim reaper to scare the kids at OH nature reserve. She is thinking about ordering the Cousin IT one for next year.
Love the chicken ads, OH has taken a coot and a hedgehog on the bus to the local wildlife hospital. The swan we took in a works van
Trains regularly take racing pigeons, so I assume as long as the hen was in a secure crate no problem. We take various pets to vets on the buses in pet carriers no problem

Nice to see the numbers of Full Members creeping up. I believe Tim is abroad ATM and I'm sure he'll update the list ASP when he has time.

I'm still puzzled by the huge numbers of people who register and then apparently don't even visit the Forum. Yesterday I sent out 40 p.ms to people who have registered recently without ever posting, or who seem to be browsing without posting, welcoming them to the forum and inviting them to complete their registration by posting in the Welcome section. (You can tell who has actually visited to browse by checking the Last Visit column on the RHS of the Members list.) This morning, two of these messages have moved from my Outbox to my Sent folder so presumably not all getting caught in recipients' Spam. I'll try to keep up to date with this and see if it has any effect.

BYM, Rick's poster makes no mention of crates - what a humiliation for paying passengers! I'd expect chickens would be able to reserve a seat, or at least a headrest to perch on, just like everyone else.

They get to sit up front with the driver Marigold - as long as they don't peck any of the buttons!

I have joined a few forums (archery etc.) and posted very little if anything - you all were just unfortunate :)

I had to laugh this morning- when I logged in, there was a banner ad at the top of the page for Turkey visas. Presumably you have to get them a pet passport first? I can see that they might want to go on holiday to Germany for Christmas, where they have fish for Christmas lunch ;-)

Yes, I clicked on the ad to raise a few pennies, even though I don't have any turkeys ;-)
Chickens are a girl's best friend (though diamonds would be nice too!)

Wonderful! There'll be a big uptake from internet-enabled turkeys in the next couple of months. Keep clicking!

That's hilarious! A Facebook friend and I once spent a happy hour or so playing silly beggars with the ads on FB! we noticed that every time we mentioned something, the ads would change accordingly, so we rabbited on about all sorts of random things, from pharmaceuticals to poultry related to diamonds, to see what the ads came up with!
