Stephen Hawking

Post by Marigold » Wed Mar 14, 2018 8:56 am

Stephen Hawking was born January 8, 1942, on the 300th anniversary of Galileo's death. He died today, March 14th, on the anniversary of Einstein's birth. Time is circular - no beginning, no end.

A truly great man, achieved so much. Fascinating facts Marigold, and how fitting his birth and death tying in which other greats

A great loss for those who understand quantum physics.
I thought his crowning achievement was when he guest appeared in The Simpsons.

More than once as well. Liked his "don't look at your feet, look up at the stairs" a great motto for life.
Always found physics difficult, but he had a brain the size of a planet and I take my hat off to him

I have felt sad from the first moment I woke up and heard the news. What a great man.

Keep out of the black and into the red,
You get nothing in this game for two in a bed

(or was it the opposite way round?).

Very entertaining in his day!
