College students

This could easily be another addition to they walk amongst us. 3 girls walk over to our bus companies office at Lakeside this morning at 8.30.
"what bus do we have to get to get to Palmer's college by 8 30"
"The 5 to 8 bus no 83 will get you there in time"
"That one over there?"
"No that is the 8.37 bus, it's gone 8 30 now"
"so that won't get us there for 8.30"
"No it's a bus, not the Starship Enterprise, and most of our passengers aren't too keen on warp speed or time travel"
"So how do we get to the college for 8 30 today"
"Get up earlier"
These were 6th form students.Scary or what

Presumably they were going in to find out what sort of GCSE results they had got.
Probably no hurry to find out, I would imagine.

We've currently got trempory staff in. They're all 16-22 and a days work is killing them.

Probably not much point in hurrying - but BYM said they were 6th form students!

And I can just hear him telling them to get up earlier!

They were going to the college to pick up their free travel passes for the local buses, which have to be renewed after the summer holiday and Easter. Half of the students will lose them within a fortnight which is a regular occurrence. You know me too well Marigold, I asked them if they had heard about this amazing thing called an alarm clock.
We have a bag of lost property in the office which consists of £40 of Cow & Gate baby food,(the bill is in the bag) been there since Tuesday, there must be a hungry baby out there, or has the person lost that somewhere. How can you not realise you have left a big carrier bag somewhere.
Weirdest thing left on bus, a coffin (theatrical prop).
Someone tried to get on a bus with a dead Muntjac last week that he had found lying in the road

Is a Muntjac a full or half fare?, they are only little after all. Would it get a discount for being dead?.

It would be a bit much asking full price for a carcass. I'd say that's too dear.
