No proper perches, so the plastic racks they sleep on in their own droppings are hard to clean; very poor ventilation; three hens is a squash; if used with a low attached run it's impossible to get in and catch a bird or pick up poo from the floor. Possibly useful as a broody coop or a short-term emergency isolation unit. I once had an Eglu Classic, the original design, but gave it away in the end as I couldn't sell it and didn't have room to store it once I'd come to my senses and got something bigger.

Must admit, Marigold, that I would not want this for my hens, but believe some people like them. It looks quite small, too. I guess they are easy to clean, being pvc?

After the heavy torrential rain at the weekend, I know my wooden coop is water proof, thanks to having a keen DIY hubbie ;-) He's even made the nestbox deeper, by extending it. Cindy has decided she likes it now, so lays her egg in there. Barbie still lays hers on the floor... :-)07
