I was planning on if im not too busy/knee deep in snow!
its not that far from me :)

nope definitely not.. :D
ill just have to try and not steal any pretty chickens, no trench coats allowed hehe :P

I'll be there on the Sunday in the Butchers room with the photo stand.

My hit list of rare breeds I want to photograph is slowly reducing in size :-)

Hope to see some of you there! Missed lots of people at the National - we were flat out taking photos

We'll be there on the Saturday. Want to show the Marsh Daisy club pictures of an original one before they started messing about with colours. Twiglett carries all the traits they are complaining they have completely lost -white lobes, large comb, big attitude, overall size. She was an ebay egg and won the rare breeds class in Hornchurch near Lincoln! We were also discussing last year borrowing one of their cockerels to breed some new original stock. Then we could form the 'Original Marsh Daisy' club. Suppose its a bit like Orpingtons. The original cockerel shape was magnificent. The latest is rather 'over-engineered'and very unnatural. (Bottom is an original)

Well I am looking forward to meeting you Chris, think I will be there for both days.
Tim saw the back of you a couple of times at the National! :D

Do we have to wear pink carnations or something so you can recognise us Foxy? Bet Tim was glad.....to see the back of me :D .
Its Horncastle, not Hornchurch, near Lincoln where Twiglett made her debut.

Where can I find a schedule for the show please?

Entries closed early in November. Catalogues are available at the show, I think there are around 6,500 entries! :D

So Chris I shall be looking for someone wearing a pink carnation? :D

If anyone wants to meet up happy to pm my mobile number, or you can find me at the faverolles stand :-)99

are you coming up to the scot national Tim, I was hoping to get some good photos of my Svart Hona :D

Tim, I'll look out for you at the National. You'll be the bloke with the camera saying "cheese" to the birdies.

Foxy, we'll ask at the Faverolles stand. My budget won't stretch to a pink carnation at the moment. Or you may see me talking to the TNN's.

No I'm sorry, I won't be... it's just too far for me. The Fed will be my last show of the season.

Jed Dwight might be there - we gave him our old blue to white background and he takes a few photos at the shows.

My little black bantam won Reserve Faverolles Champion at the show, so proud of her! :D :-)08

I had a problem with my camera and didn't take any, Tim took a fair few so I expect he will post some soon!
Best in Show was a gorgeous Buff Rock :D
