2012 Scottish National

The 2012 Scottish National Poultry Show is being held on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd January, 2012 @ Lanark Agricultural Centre. Closing date for entries will be 21st December, 2011. Schedules will be available from mid November from the Secretary, E-MAIL: robert26449@btinternet.com

Hi,
This is a brilliant and superbly run show, by a super commitee, run by a superb secrtary! i do my Judging test here every year, even better last year, when ''Blue Peter'' was there!
Black and Gold Partridge Pekins, Black Rosecombs, Gold Partridge Yellow Partridge and Silver Partridge Dutch, Black Belguim D'Anvers and Black Cross Bred Silkies (for eggs)

I have heard really good reviews about the Scottish National, and am hoping to go next year! :D

My goodness Foxy! your location is South West! Would you really travel all that way? It would be fab to meet you on a selfish level but do people really travel "countrywide" to show their birds?
How do the birds cope, do they get used to it?

Yes a of serious breeders travel all over, even have friends going to an exhibition in Germany! :D But yes am planning on the scottish National and also Peebles a bit later on, another well organised and friendly show! :-)17

We're doing the 2013 Scottish National Foxy!! Going up with friends, so should be a good laugh. We'll be hiring a big transit though, our old van won't make it i don't think! Although it did Germany fine!! :lol:
