geese - flight feathers/flight

Hello! I have a 15 week old goose and I was wondering if anyone had ideas about how to inhibit any initial flight attempts in the last two weeks before I trim the flight feathers. I have a fenced in backyard however my fence is only 4 feet tall. I live in a city so I worry that she might be able to clear the fence if she gets startled/tries to make some beginning flight attempts. Thank you!

Hiya, I hope your goose is doing well! What type of goose is she? many domestic breeds cant really fly at all even with a full set of flight feathers

She is an African goose. I've been setting up some obstacles to shorten any sort of run way she might have but I have seen her get almost two feet off the ground in the past week.

Hey, I was just wondering what you managed to do at the end? We had one of our 3 month old geese disappear and we're suspecting it has flown away as there doesn't seem to be any other reasonable explanation for it.
