Re: My hens in our snowy garden

What a nice little video, Jack Cardiff eat your heart out. It must be a very good phone you've got for that picture quality. They are certainly braver than my lot who just take one look at snow and think nah don't think we'll bother. Particularly liked Marigold the buff sussex, beautiful hen.

Re: Airedale and Chickens

Have taken Tuppence down to the chickens two more times and she is being really really good. She already knows that pulling on the lead gets her nowhere and have had her within two feet of the chickens, she just sat patiently watching them, when she stood they moved away but the goldlines, especiall...

Re: Airedale and Chickens

Thanks for your replies, gives me food for thought, I'll continue with the socialisation and see how far i can get with it then. 'Surely you can let them out a bit when the dog is safely indoors? - and then let her have her run in the garden when they're back in their run?' Your quite right Marigold,...

Re: Red Mite in Green Frog - Update/Perch Alert

Well despite what I said I have contacted Green Frog today about the risk from the perches and they came back very promptly to me with this reponse. 'Thanks for letting us know - it is very frustrating that the perches are manufactured with the gap in the end. Apparently, this is unavoidable, though...
