Re: Happy Christmas Everyone!
And from me too... Happy Christmas to all of you. The year has flown by here! I'm looking forward to another year of interesting chatter with you all next year:-) A forum is all about the people that use it - without these people it would be pretty boring - so thank you all for being part of it and ...

Forum Width
Hello all.. I have increased the width of the forum from 900 pixels to 1200 pixels wide. This is so that we can increase the size of pictures posted (not yet implemented but will come soon...) If you are using a laptop or PC with a low screen resolution, you may find this doesn't fit your screen and...

Re: Forum pruning
Since snifter retired as a moderator
I sort of forgot about this...
I have have just pruned over 1500 threads from the Chickens wanted / for sale section.
Threads that have not had a reply for 30 days and a view in 7 days will be automatically deleted.
Thanks!
Tim

Re: Proposition of the new tool on the forum
tygrysek75 I've checked the documentation and it confirms that users cannot delete a post once someone has replied. You can edit a post though and can of course add another post to say something is now sold for example. I have re-set the 'auto pruning' in the Chickens Wanted / For Sale forum - so 30...

Re: Proposition of the new tool on the forum
Hi Chris, Try going to User Control Panel, select Board Preferences and then select the 'Reduced Width' template from the 'My Board Style'. This is the old 900 pixel wide setting.... On the photos - yes, we limit the size of the photos so pages don't load slowly but the physical size is a little sma...

Re: Proposition of the new tool on the forum

You may be able to get a higher resolution on your monitor by right clicking on the desktop and selecting screen resolution in Windows 7 or (I think) properties and then finding the screen resolution tab or di...

Sneaky Spammers - Reporting Posts.
Hi all. There is a constant problem of people joining the forum and posting links to other websites to gain website ranking in the search engines. Basically, the more links a website has, the higher the seach engines position them... because links are seen as a popularity vote. So we get 'spam bots'...
