Re: A difficult decision.

Our search starts with "do you take chickens?" Marigold. Last time we went camping in Wales they all did, presumably because they hadn't experienced one before. When we arrived the lady at the desk asked if he was noisy? We said of course he is! So we had the spot furthest away from everyone and Bo...

Re: A difficult decision.

Oh Marigold! I'm so sorry to hear all your problems, that's more than enough for one family to deal with! You have your holiday to look forward to now and I hope you enjoy a relaxing one! I'm afraid we don't go on holiday! Have only two dogs now, but wouldn't even consider putting them in kennels. A...

Re: Memo to self.

Marigold, I think this is the year of me doing daft things! I've flooded the downstairs of the house 3 times in the last month, each time doing exactly the same thing! I just completely forgot I left the water running! I definitely don't learn from my mistakes!!!!

Re: Memo to self.

Marigold, I sympathise with your egg in pocket problem! I come home from work at lunchtime, check on the hens and collect any eggs, putting them in my coat pocket to take back to the house and transfer to egg boxes. I made a visit to Pets at Home last week, got out of the car and walked into the sho...

Re: A difficult decision.

Marigold, I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to you! I know I'm way behind here, but have hardly been on here recently and am only just catching up! I hope you are all healed now and Trog is still with you! I have dogs, although not terriers, but feel exactly the same as everyone else. His nat...

Re: Potty Dotty Puzzle!

Puzzle solved!! I knew it had to be something simple, but it wasn't until I went to check on them the other day that I realised what had been happening! We have an automatic light controlled door on the Green Frog where Dotty lives. So to close the door we have to cover the light sensor. My hubby ma...

Re: Potty Dotty Puzzle!

Can she lift the lid of the nest box from outside Sue, then climb in that way? No Chris, she can't get in this way as I always lock the nest box. Even if I didn't lock it, it overlaps and is too high off the ground for her to even reach it. The house is on a raised slabbed area and the nest boxes o...

Potty Dotty Puzzle!

I need some help please! This won't come as any surprise to a lot of people on here, but Potty Dotty is broody again! Things were looking up as she was laying an egg every day, then I realised what she was up to, she was laying her yearly 6 eggs as quick as she could so that she could spend the rest...
