Chicks become growers at about 7-8 weeks, and should be fed growers feed from then. Gradually increase the proportion of growers feed rather than swapping it over straight away.

Well he's about 5 1/2 weeks old,... Actually, what age should I feed the chicks / chicklets chick crumbs til? Have I got to switch to growers pellets soon?

ah ah :-) Well after 2 weeks away on holiday, I have come back to completely different chickens,.. I thought that I wouldn't find them that much changed because my daughter had sent plenty of photos and videos,... but wow how wrong could I be??? Peckford used to be the smallest one and now he/she's ...

They have their days but generally they really don't mind a fuss... Especially if we happen to have some treats πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Booboo the black one is my husband's and she likes to perch herself on top of him....
