Re: Dithering...good or bad sign?

Hello ditherer :-) I am the opposite and do things on impulse, although I have a husband who reins me in at times. I created my little set-up after seeing an advert locally for ex battery hens and had often wanted to own a couple of chickens. I also eat a lot of eggs. Anyway, I bought the coop and t...

Just had someone on Facebook tell me they are pig shelters... was hoping they were for chickens so I could steal a couple :D

What are these??

Does anyone know what these are? This field is usually used for growing crops, but these appeared recently. They are made of metal. The top is dark green.

Re: Poultry mite invasion in my garden and house

Hey Jaffa, it is like Mrs Biscuit said, the photo is too small to be able to see the mites. Might have to take another with more pixels/don't shrink it so much. It was me who sent you the private message with those links, hope you found them useful. Cannot imagine how bad it must be living with all ...

Re: Integrating new pullets

I did consider it might be fairer to get two from the same breeder, that way, they are already "friends". I was reading up on the best natured types who produce the most eggs. I am not fussed about colour of the egg, as they are just for eating. The plymouth rock came up as a good type, rhode island...

Brilliant! Thanks, Marigold. :-)

Just clicked to order that other brand, it is £6 cheaper and don't need a prescription.

Wormer types

I was just about to order some wormer, having googled Flubonvet, but then noticed it looked like different packaging, so didn't continue. Can someone please let me know if this is basically the same thing as Flubonvet, as it appears to be. https://www.viovet.co.uk/Flubendazole-1/c39027/ Another thin...
