Re: Carriers

I had a birthday cd delivered from amazom last week. Wouldn't go through letterbox, so they put a card through saying they'd been. When out to check on the growers and they'd slung it over the gate. Now I don't mind, just wish they'd said.
We use yodel at work, they're cheap for a reason.

Re: Drought conditions

Mad isn't it, considering spring hardly got here by may. I do some volunteering down my local football club and at the end of the season we did some maintenance on the pitch. Well the sprinklers have been on ever since. Watered the grass seed to make it grow, now if we turn them off it'll all go yel...

Three water barrels all empty now. The last time it rained, it was a storm, it flooded parts ofNorthampton. Watering my mates down the street, came back with two watering cans to do my pots.

Re: nature notes

We came to the conclusion that it was one of those too, after I Googled UK moths. I certainly wouldn't want that flying round my ears. It was left on a stack of pallets near the door, to bugger off when it was ready. Quite how it managed to find its way into a warehouse in the middle of Northamptons...

Can't stand glossing. My mum is a dab hand at papering. Everything I help her out I say I must learn how you do it cuz you're not going to be about forever.
Needless to say, my sister had her round last weekend to paper her bedroom.

Re: Spring watch

I thought of you when they mentioned skuas, I'd never seen one before. Big units.
I'd never heard a nightingale either.

Re: Breakfast time

I don't eat breakfast, unless it's made for me. Then I'll eat most things, bar porridge.
I give my eggs away, close neighbour and my mother. They always say the yolks are massive and really orangey.
Whilst I'll eat eggs, they're not my favourite. I never cook them myself.

You'll be knitting dish clothes next. I'm all for make do and mend, we're such a throw away society now. Especially when it comes to electronics, no one repairs just replaces.
