Hi Chris I just spotted your tread,and yes you can incubate them after storing in the fridge.Few friends of mine did that very successfully.Some people prefer keep them in cardboard egg boxes some go in to wrapping them in cling film to reduce loss of moisture .Some breeds are better than others to ...

Thanks Marigold. You've explained why the raspberry canes next to our hen enclosure grew to over 6' in height this year & produced less than a dozen raspberries between them. Top chick is a female,I can't properly see the other.male will develop very dark wing feathers,so if they light you have 2 hens.

You have no choice as to train him not to go in to their run.Water pistol ans wait for him when he come close spray with water,he soon works out that this is not a nice place to go.

I had always given sprouting seeds for my chickens during winter months when grass is not nice.I had recently also come across of feeding them with fermented seeds which also very good for them.I tried this and seems to love this also.
