A Muscovy last week hatched eggs after 38 days. I know that ducks and geese can 'cover' their eggs for a few days before the actual incubation starts.
I now have some eggs in the incubator, how long should they take to hatch ?

I am not sure Chuck, always used broody muscovys for them and they have taken roughly 35 days. It will be interesting as this is the first time I have used an incubator for them, they have been in a week now so 4 to go, we will have to compare notes! :D

I have wondering about that too.. with runners I started at 35% raised humidity at 2/3rds in to 45% then when pipping took it up to 70% and that worked well.

I am considering adding the incubator eggs to a clutch one of my muscovies is sat on..roughly the same age too, not sure how good mum will be though last year she was a bit whimsical in her sitting.
