chicks hatched and a grumpy father

Davina's chicks finally hatched yesterday. Well 2 of them anyway. She laid 14 but only 2 have hatched in the the last 24 hours.

My question is, what about the other 12? 09

Next, George, her partner stays close to her but when ever the ducklings are close he pecks at them in a not very nice way
